Window4, 22x24, reverse painting on double-sided glass pane, $1500.00
Painting on glass has become a passion of mine. All these 6 paintings were done between 2017-19. It took a lot of experimenting for the reverse painting. They are NOT see-through and should be handled like a regular painting on a hard surface. Except you look at them from the front, and the paint is on the back... All are painted in reverse (that is, on the back) except no.3 and 4. They are large (sizes between 24-35 inches) and they are real wood, and they are heavy. Click on each image to see the entire piece. # 3 and #4 were sold. All of them are painted on old barn windows. The last one is on a regular window, which was double sided. Hence the blurry effect which, I think, gives it a whole other dimension.
Three smaller paintings , also in reverse on glass, below. The second and third one are not available anymore. Click on each image to see entire painting. All 5x7 . The last one was one of my first reverse glass paintings.
